BISMARCK — West Fargo Sheyenne and West Fargo were both opening-round winners Thursday at the North Dakota Class A state boys basketball tournament at the Bismarck Event Center.
The cross-town rivals are set to clash in Saturday’s state semifinals. The Mustangs (24-1) and Packers (20-3) are set to tip off at 6 p.m. Saturday with a state title game berth at stake.
West Region top seed Minot earned an 83-67 victory against Fargo North. Fargo Davies is slated to play in the final boys quarterfinal.
